Robotic Pelvic Lymphadenectomy in Gynecological and Urological Malignancies

Objectives: Pelvic lymphadenectomy is a crucial step in the management of different pelvic cancers for both prognostic and/or therapeutic goals. Robotic surgeries offered numerous benefits over open laparoscopic such as better visualization, shorter hospital stay, less pain and cosmoses. The aim this narrative review to evaluate value outcomes robotic lymph node dissection (PLND). Mechanism: PubMed database was searched using following keywords “Robotic” AND “pelvic dissection” identify all relevant articles concerned with role PLND. We included only English published between 2010 2022. Data from retrieved were then used formulate that highlight introduction, (PLND), mapping sentinel (SLN) cervical, endometrial, prostate, bladder cancers. Findings Brief: PLND an integral part gynecological urological oncology its tumor staging planning further treatment plan. Furthermore, it may play important cancer. approach safe efficient can be potentially Conclusions: could alternative approaches decrease associated morbidities without compromising quality Lymph (LND).
